June 10th @ The Irving Grange ~ lesson learned from this show...dont attend shows while heavily intoxicated. dang. i felt really bad that andrew got so drunk. im sorry...i love you...i really do...forgive me? i dont even remember the names of like any of the bands except for Aerodroneā„ and Horse The Band. Aerodrone did...duh...amazing. i was singing along with all of the songs...except...i think there was one that i didnt know. i felt like a shitty fan...but then i remembered that i had the autographed demo...and im rad. haha. i had never heard of Horse The Band until tonight...they were really something. i wasnt totally diggin' them until after their first song. then i was like "damn...these dudes are pretty rad..." so...i would totally go to another HTB show! oh yeah...and i met lots of cool people too...like Jimie from aerodrone...hes fabulous! and i met luke, who is super dooper nice! shawn kilmer made this sign that sayd "DANCE!" and luke got it...and during HTB's set...i was like "so...what would it take to get you to surrender that sign?" and he just gave it to me! i was like "AWWW!!! YAY!!!" and now its on my wall! haha. i met some kidd named Bret too...he had a FGR shirt on...i figured he'd be cool enough for me to talk to if he was sporting a FGR shirt! haha. i talked to gary zon again...it made my day...no...week! hes such a rad guy...i cant even get over it! i really really really hope i can go to the show on the 15th!!!!
May 28th @ The Irving Grange ~ I got to the show late...which kinda sucked. but i got to see most of Klementyne's set. Then came Aerodrone...probably the biggest reason i went to that show. I thought i had died and gone to heaven...it was amazingly awsome. Aerodrone is my newest infatuation. Well 3rd was She(MyArson) and they got people to start moving finally. I swear...Zach gets more and more beautiful everytime i see him. Not like "oh man hes hott" beautiful...i mean like Model-Gorgeous. I swear...hes probably the "Prettiest" guy ive ever met...and its wicked funny. but anyways...4th was This Day's End...but i didnt get to see much of their set. i was like high on the fact that i got to meet Gary Zon and he signed my Aerodrone CD...i know youre thinking "wow...what a nerd..." but gary zon is my hero...he is the genius brain behind dismantled...oh goodness...haha. well yes...last, and definately not least, was CTL...fuck yeah doggy. I got my ass kicked literally. someone kicked me and bruised my effin tailbone. but its ok. someone also jumped into my back and i almost died. and ro-ho-cabasa tried to jump over me...but just ended up scratching the shit out of my back. dumb! i screamed in the mic to Better Off Dead...like always...and it was a beautiful thing.... <3<3<3
April 20th @ The Lorax ~ well last time i went to a show at the lorax...it was really lame...so i wasnt expecting this show to be that much fun. but it was pretty rad. i went with becky and geren and it was their first show. we didnt care much for the first band so we went outside to smoke a cigarette. and then by the time we decided to come back in, S(MA)'s set was about to start. so i was excited. they were rad like always and geren really likes them. ive created a monster...haha. coz now all he wants to do is go to shows with me. haha. well yeah. i had to be home by 10...so we decided to just leave early so we could still hang out after the show. so emily walked to the car with us and we hung out....so it was a really fun night...even though i really only saw S(MA)'s set...haha
April 9th @ The Wow Hall ~ shit i havent been to a show in a long time! this was definately needed! before the show my mom threw a drunken fit and threw mashed potatoes at the wall...i thought i was going to miss the show then finally i got out of the house. then i picked up spooner, jeremy, and chuck, and we were on our way. when we got there a mind like yours was playing and i wasnt paying much attention coz i was talking with a lot of friends i havent seen since like january...then 2nd was Five Good Reasons...which was probably the main reason i even went to that show...hehe. dont get me wrong...i love this days end...but i only get to see FGR on special occasions! haha. well duh...they rocked my flippin toe socks off...as usual! i only noticed one tinsy little mess up...and then i felt stupid for noticing it...haha. well 3rd was S(MA) but when the started their set i was outside talking to jason and then talking to ben. well when i made it inside, they were playing my favorite..."blood red reflections." i love that shit! then last, but mos definately not least, was This Days End and holy shit...they were amazing! their new stuff is totally awsome! they had a really really cute song towards the end, but i cant remember what its called. well if you havent picked up TDE's new CD...you suck...go get it now!
January 7th @ North Eugene ~ This show was so siiiick! 7 band set up is all it takes to win my heart! haha. We got there a little late but the first band, Belligerent, was playing and they were pretty fun. Then second was Under Enuff, and they were fantastic as usual! Then came another totally awsome punk band, ROi, with the bloody "f*ck NoFX" shirt. 4th was Monkee Torture, with a set that lasted a little longer than it should have. I walked to the store and back and they were still going, but it was cool, coz i got some good pictures. 5th was 5 Good Reasons. They were totally siiiick! literally...haha. jason was feeling sick, but they still did a totally awsome job! 6th was Streetlight Cardiacs and they were super. I'm starting to like their newer stuff more than the older stuff, maybe its just that evan is starting to grow on me. haha. well then last but not least was This Days End...and they roxered my boxers...haha. i tried to get better pictures but everyone was sooo up close and i couldnt even see the guys...haha. well thats what i get for leaving my good spot between sets...haha
